This self-directed online course will increase awareness and understanding of the unique barriers faced by immigrant and refugee women leaving violence and provide practical information and tools about how to best and culturally safely support them.

Introduction to Working with Children and Youth Experiencing Violence (PEACE I)

This is the first of two courses designed for PEACE counsellors and others supporting children and youth who are exposed to violence in the home. In this course, you will learn how to work from a feminist and from a child-centred prespective.

Supporting Children and Youth Experiencing Violence Against Women (PEACE II)

Course

PEACE/CWWA II teaches how to design and run a PEACE/CWWA program; how to work with mothers and with other professional service providers; and how to ensure support for PEACE counsellors.
